Shoyu Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index

| Shoyu Sauce | ||
| 1 cup | 237ml | Shoyu |
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Honey |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Chicken broth |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Hoisin sauce |
| 1 | Star anise - (mashed) | |
| Garnish | ||
| Chinese parsley | ||
| Green onions |
1. Steam chicken for 30 minutes.
2. Combine sauce and let simmer for 15 minutes.
3. Place chicken in sauce. Simmer chicken for 5 minutes on each side till chicken is well coated with sauce.
4. Chop chicken and arrange on platter.
5. Garnish.
