Sheryl's Chicken Log Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Cream cheese - softened | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Prepared steak sauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Curry powder |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Cooked chicken - , shredded |
1/4 cup | 27g / 1oz | Finely chopped celery |
1/8 cup | 18g / 0.6oz | Finely chopped fresh parsley - divided |
1/4 cup | 23g / 0.8oz | Slivered almonds |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Paprika |
Saute the almonds in 1 tablespoon butter.
Beat the cream cheese, steak sauce and curry powder until well mixed.
Stir in chicken, celery, and 1 tablespoon of the parsley.
Shape into a log, wrap in plastic film, and chill.
Before serving, unwrap log; combine paprika with almonds and remaining parsley and roll the log in the mixture.
Serve with cocktail crackers.
