Sheryl's Chicken Log

Recipe Ingredients

1   Cream cheese - softened
1 teaspoon 5mlPrepared steak sauce
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlCurry powder
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozCooked chicken - , shredded
1/4 cup 27g / 1ozFinely chopped celery
1/8 cup 18g / 0.6ozFinely chopped fresh parsley - divided
1/4 cup 23g / 0.8ozSlivered almonds
1 teaspoon 5mlPaprika

Recipe Instructions

Saute the almonds in 1 tablespoon butter.

Beat the cream cheese, steak sauce and curry powder until well mixed.

Stir in chicken, celery, and 1 tablespoon of the parsley.

Shape into a log, wrap in plastic film, and chill.

Before serving, unwrap log; combine paprika with almonds and remaining parsley and roll the log in the mixture.

Serve with cocktail crackers.
