1 | Herring boned and skinned - cut into 1" diagonal | |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Red wine vinegar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Olive oil |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sugar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dried dill chopped - or - |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dill fresh and chopped fine |
Mix everything except the fish together.
Place fish in deep dish and pour the mixture over it.
Refrigerate for 4-6 hours.
