Braised Endive

Recipe Ingredients

1/2 lb 227g / 8ozBelgian endive - sliced in
1 lb 454g / 16ozRed delicious apple - diced (small)
2 tablespoons 30mlFresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons 10mlWalnut oil
1   Salt
  Pepper to taste
1/2 cup 118mlWater
2 tablespoons 30mlApple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon 15mlFresh parsley - chopped

Recipe Instructions

Place all ingredients except vinegar and parsley in a large skillet. Remove cover, cook 2 minutes more until water evaporates. Continue cooking over medium heat 5 minutes. Stir in vinegar. Garnish with parsley.
