Salmon Party Ball Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Sockeye salmon | |
1 | Cream cheese - softened | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Grated onion |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh lemon juice |
Salt - to taste | ||
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Prepared horseradish |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Liquid barbecue smoke |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Chopped pecans |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Snipped fresh parsley |
Drain and flake salmon (remove skin and bones). Combine salmon, cream cheese, lemon juice, onion, horseradish, salt and liquid smoke. Mix thoroughly. Chill several hours.
Combine pecans and parsley. Shape mixture into ball and roll in nut mixture on sheet of wax paper. Chill well. Serve with assorted crackers.
