Roasted Red Pepper Cheese Toasts Recipe - Cooking Index
4 | Whole-grain bread slices | |
1/3 cup | 48g / 1.7oz | Mozzarella cheese - shredded |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Olive oil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Balsamic vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dried basil - crumbled |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dried oregano - crumbled |
3 1/2 oz | 99g | Roasted red peppers - sliced |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Parmesan cheese - grated |
1. Place bread on small baking sheet. Combine cheese, oil, vinegar, basil and oregano. Spoon onto bread. Top with red pepper; sprinkle with Parmesan.
2. Bake in preheated 500F oven 5-8 minutes until cheese is melted.
