Rhode Island Clam Cakes Recipe - Cooking Index
4 cups | 250g / 8.8oz | Flour |
8 teaspoons | 40ml | Baking powder |
3 teaspoons | 15ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Pepper |
4 | Eggs | |
2 cups | 474ml | Milk |
1 | Clams - canned with liquid | |
2 cups | 396g / 13oz | Lard - or more, for deep frying |
Mix all of above (except lard).
Deep fry at 375 by dropping from oiled spoon.
Salt and pepper after cooking.
