Puffed Chicken Wings Recipe - Cooking Index

Marinade | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic - minced |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ginger rroot - minced |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Dry sherry |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sesame oil |
Batter | ||
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Cornstarch |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Flour |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Baking powder |
1 | Egg - lightly beaten | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Milk |
Add wings to marinade for at least one hour.
Combine dry ingredients, stir in egg and milk. Pat wings dry. Dip in batter. Drip off excess.
Heat oil 350F. Fry few wings at a time, 3-4 minutes.
