Peppered Pecans Recipe - Cooking Index
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Butter or margarine |
3 | Garlic - minced | |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Tabasco sauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
3 cups | 438g / 15oz | Pecan halves |
Preheat oven to 250F. Melt butter in a small skillet; add hot sauce, garlic and salt. Cook 1 minutes.
Toss pecans with butter mixture; spread in a single layer on baking sheet.
Bake about 1 hour or until pecans are crisp, stirring occasionally.
Makes 3 cups.
