Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese Spread Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 cup | 177ml | Mayonnaise |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Chopped green onions - including tops |
1/3 cup | 48g / 1.7oz | Grated parmigiano reggiano cheese |
1 | Worcestershire sauce | |
Salt and freshly ground black pepper - to taste | ||
1/2 | Loaf euro bread* - sliced 1/2" thick |
*Apparently this is a local proprietary brand. Any dense bread should do.
Combine mayonnaise, green onions, cheese, Worcestershire, salt and pepper.
Spread on bread slices and broil until bubbly; cut into pieces and serve warm.
Makes 6 servings.
