1 | Papaya; peeled - seeded, - finely (large) chopped | |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Seeded tomatoes - - (finely chopped) |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Peeled seeded cucumber - - (finely chopped) |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Finely chopped green onion |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Fresh lime juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped fresh cilantro |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Seeded jalapeno chili - - (finely chopped) |
Low-fat tortilla chips |
Here's a pretty and fresh-tasting salsa that is great with low-fat tortilla chips. Celery sticks and bell pepper strips also make good, healthful "scoops".
Combine first 7 ingredients in medium bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. (Can be prepared 4 hours ahead. Cover and refrigerate.) Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes before serving. Serve with tortilla chips.
