3 tablespoons | 45ml | Vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground red chile powder - such as piquin |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Paprika |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Crushed dried oregano |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Chicken wings - cut at the joint and |
Place all the ingredients, except the chicken wings, in a large glass dish or bowl and mix well. Add the chicken and turn to coat with the marinade. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
Preheat the oven to 375F.
Drain the chicken wings and arrange in a large baking tray.
Bake 30-40 minutes or until the wings are tender and the juices run clear when pierced at the thickest part.
