Olive Curry Snacks Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Grated sharp cheddar cheese |
1 | Chopped black olives | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Mayonnaise |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Chopped green onions - stems and all |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Curry powder |
Salt - to taste | ||
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly ground black pepper |
Cocktail rye bread rounds |
Combine all ingredients except bread in a bowl; refrigerate several hours. Check for seasoning.
Arrange rye slices on a cookie sheet and brown on one side only under the broiler.
On the unbrowned side of each, mound about 1+ teaspoon of the cheese mix. Arrange on cookie sheet with browned side down.
Bake at 375F for about 10 minutes, or just until the cheese bubbles.
Cool slightly before serving.
