| 10 | Beets - chopped | |
| 1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Chopped onions |
| 2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Chopped cabbage |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Red sweet pepper |
| 1 | Celery - chopped | |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Salt |
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
| 1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Chopped cauliflower |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Mustard seed |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Celery seed |
| 2 | Vinegar - up to 2 |
Combine ingredients. Heat to boiling. Cook slowly, stirring frequently, until vegetables are tender. M.B. Horsky, Simpson, PA.
