Mary's Garlic Bread Recipe - Cooking Index
250 | Butter - softened | |
200 | Parmesan cheese - grated | |
100 | Mayonnaise | |
5 | Garlic cloves minced or pressed | |
50 | Fresh parsley - chopped | |
2 1/2 | Oregano | |
1 | Loaf French bread - (baguette), cut lengthwise |
1. Preheat oven to 190 C .
2. Mix all ingredients except the bread together in a bowl.
3. Spread the mixture onto the French bread.
4. Wrap bread in aluminum foil.
5. Bake for 20 minutes.
6. Unwrap and place under broiler to brown.
Author's Notes: This recipe is from "The Garlic Lover's Cookbook," which is a must for all folks interested in keeping vampires away.
We never finish the last step. By the time we have the stuff unwrapped, we just have to eat it!
