Marinated Tomatoes Recipe - Cooking Index
3 | Fresh tomatoes - sliced thick (large) | |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Olive oil |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Red wine vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt - optional |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
1/2 | Garlic - minced | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped onion |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped fresh parsley |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp |
Recipe by: Glenn/Sharon Gorman <[email protected] Arrange tomatoes in a large shallow dish.
Combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic, onion, parsley and basil in a jar; cover tightly and shake well.
Pour over tomato slices. Cover and refrigerate for several hours.
