Marinated Mushrooms - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Fresh mushrooms |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Soy sauce |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Red wine vinegar |
6 tablespoons | 90ml | Sherry |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Sugar |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Finely minced onions |
Mix all ingredients but the mushrooms in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over mushrooms that have been cleaned and halved or quartered depending on size. Marinate and chill for 24 hours before serving. Small button mushrooms can be used whole.
