Laura's Pickled Eggs Recipe - Cooking Index
12 | Hard-boiled egg - peeled | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
2 cups | 474ml | White vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Pickling spice |
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Celery seed |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Garlic - minced |
Put eggs in a 2 quart glass jar or large mixing bowl.
Bring remaining ingredients to a boil in medium size saucepan over high heat.
Pour hot vinegar mixture over eggs.
Cover and refrigerate 24 hours before serving. Laura Gentry
