Killer Bread Recipe - Cooking Index

Butter or margarine | ||
1 cup | 237ml | Mayonnaise |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Parmesan cheese |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Fresh basil - minced |
3 teaspoons | 15ml | Fresh oregano - minced |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - minced |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh parsley - minced |
3 teaspoons | 15ml | Cajun seasoning |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Garlic - minced |
Slice the loaf in half horizontally. Butter cut sides of both halves, and toast under broiler until lightly browned. Mix the remaining ingredients and spread over both halves, using the entire mixture. Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes, until top is brown and puffed. Cut into wedges and serve hot.
You can eat this like pizza as an entire meal, or along with a light meal. *If fresh basil and oregano are unavailable, use 1 tablespoon dried basil and 1 teaspoon dried oregano. It will not be quite as good as when fresh herbs are used.
