Kentucky Derby Cheese Dip Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Grated sharp cheddar cheese |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Onion - chopped fine (medium) |
2 | Garlic - chopped fine | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Cayenne pepper |
1 | Flat beer |
Heat the beer to simmer. Blend all ingredients with electric mixer. Chill.
Serve with crackers or crusty bread chunks. This will keep for months, can be done ahead and will freeze very well.
Makes 5 cups.
