Huli Huli Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index
5 lbs | 2270g / 80oz | Chicken |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Ketchup |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Soy sauce |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Sherry or aji mirin sweet rice wine |
1 | Ginger root - crushed | |
1 | Garlic - crushed |
Marinate for at least 4 hrs. or overnight.
Arrange chicken skin side up on rack of broiler pan. Broil 6 to 8 inches from unit in oven for 10 minutes on each side. Baste with marinade and turn pieces over and baste again, until done.
