Green Oaks Cheese Spread Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Cream cheese - softened | |
1 | Sharp cheddar cheese - (club type) | |
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Soft butter |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Dry sherry |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dry vermouth |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dry mustard |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Worcestershire sauce |
3 | Tabasco sauce | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Seasoned salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Celery salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dried oregano |
Mix cheese with butter until thoroughly blended.
Add remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed. Pack in a crock, cover and refrigerate.
Bring to room temperature to serve with crackers.
