Gary's Clam Dip Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Minced onion |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Chopped fresh parsley |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
Salt and pepper - to taste | ||
12 | Tabasco sauce | |
16 oz | 454g | Cream cheese - at room temperature |
3 | Minced clams | |
1 | Unsliced sourdough bread round | |
1 | Baguette French bread |
Drain clams, reserving 1/2 cups of liquid. With electric mixer (not food processor), mix together all ingredients except bread. Slice top off of bread round. Hollow out bread. Fill with dip and replace top. Wrap tightly in foil. Bake at 250F for 3 hours.
Use the bread scooped out of bread round for dipping. Tear into bite size pieces. Cut the baguette into bite size pieces for dipping.
