Garlic Bread Brushetta Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Loaves semolina bread - sliced long and thin | |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter - melted |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Chopped garlic |

2 teaspoons | 10ml | Oregano |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped fresh parsley |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Romano cheese - grated |
3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Ripe tomatoes (medium) |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Onion (medium) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh basil |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Olive oil |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Balsamic vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh lemon juice |
Preheat oven to 350F.
Spread out semolina bread on cookie sheet or sizzling platter and brush with butter and garlic. Sprinkle with pepper, oregano, parsley and grated Romano cheese along with 1 teaspoon oregano.
Bake at 350F for about 1 to 2 minutes.
Chop tomato, basil and onion into fine pieces and place into a large bowl.
Mix a dash of pepper with oil, vinegar, lemon juice and remaining oregano. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Top garlic bread slices with above mixture. Delicious!
