Garbanzo Sesame Spread Recipe - Cooking Index
| 15 1/2 oz | 440g | Garbanzo beans - drained |
| 1/3 cup | 78ml | Lemon juice - fresh |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice - fresh |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Tahini - (sesame paste) |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Green onion - chopped |
| 20 | Garlic | |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
| Pepper - freshly ground | ||
| Cilantro for garnish | ||
| Toasted pita wedges |
Puree all but cilantro and pita wedges in food processor.
Transfer to bowl, cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
Garnish with cilantro and serve with toasted pita wedges.
