Recipe Ingredients

2 cups 320g / 11ozRefried beans
6 cups 1422mlRipe avocadoes (medium)
1 teaspoon 5mlFresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon 5mlFreshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon 5mlGarlic salt
1 cup 237mlMayonnaise
1 cup 237mlSour cream
1/2 cup 31g / 1.1ozChopped green onions - stems and all
2 cups 125g / 4.4ozTomatoes - diced (medium)

Recipe Instructions

Empty cans of refried beans into a mixing bowl. Add a tablespoon or two of water and stir. Add just enough water to get beans to a spreading consistency--not too moist!

Line an 8x10 serving dish with the refried beans. In another bowl, place peeled, pitted avocadoes. Mash.

Add lemon juice, pepper and garlic salt. Mix well, then spread in a layer on top of beans. Mix mayonnaise and sour cream. Layer again. Top with cheese, tomatoes and onions. Chill and serve with tortilla chips.
