Fireside Clam Logs Recipe - Cooking Index
3 | Minced clams - rinsed and drained | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Light mayonnaise |
1/3 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Green onions - sliced |
1/3 cup | 48g / 1.7oz | Grated parmesan cheese |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Worcestershire sauce |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Tabasco sauce, or to taste |
24 | Sandwich bread - crusts removed |
In a medium bowl, combine the first seven ingredients; mix well.
Chill until ready to use. Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin; spread with 1 tablespoon of clam mixture.
Roll up jelly roll style and cut in half. Place 1 inch apart on a baking sheet coated with nonstick cooking spray.
Mist rolls with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 425F for 10 - 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Serve immediately. Yield: 4 dozen. Serving Size: 2 pieces.
