Far East Peanut Dipping Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Soy sauce |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Water |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Rice wine vinegar |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Peanut butter |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sesame oil |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Hot chili paste |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Cayenne pepper |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Mayonnaise |
Mix the soy sauce and vinegar together and set aside.
Put the peanut butter in a bowl and mix in the sesame oil, blending thoroughly.
Then mix in the chili paste and cayenne pepper, blending well. Add the soy sauce blending well.
Blend in the mayonnaise and serve at room temperature.
Makes 1 1/4 cups of dipping sauce.
