1 | Cream cheese - softened | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Chopped green olives |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped green onions |
Salt and pepper - to taste | ||
1 | Loaf unsliced French bread |
Brown and crumble the ground beef in a small pan, drain off the drippings, and let cool slightly.
Combine the cream cheese, olives and onions in a small bowl, mixing until well blended. Add the ground beef and mix lightly, then season with the salt and pepper to taste.
Cut the ends off the French bread, then slice the bread into 5-inch pieces. Remove the centers, leaving a hollow shell. Stuff the bread with the ground beef mixture, wrap securely until firm, slice and serve.
