Crab Rangoon - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Crabmeat - drained and chopped |
1 | Cream cheese - at room temperature | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | A-1 steak sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Garlic powder |
1 | Won ton wrappers | |
1 | Single egg yolk - well beaten |
Combine crabmeat, cream cheese. A-1 Sauce and garlic powder. Heap 1 teaspoon crabmeat mixture in the center of 1 won ton wrapper. Gather edges together, moisten with egg and pinch or twist to seal.
Heat oil in an electric frying pan or skillet to 375F. Fry in bunches until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with Chinese mustard or red sauce. Yield: 30 to 36.
