Crab Filo Appetizers

Recipe Ingredients

3 tablespoons 45mlButter
2   Garlic - minced
3 tablespoons 45mlFlour
1 cup 237mlWhipping cream
1 lb 454g / 16ozFresh crab meat
2 tablespoons 30mlChopped chives
2 tablespoons 30mlChopped parsley
  Salt and pepper to taste
8   Filo sheets
1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozUnsalted butter

Recipe Instructions

In 3 Tbls butter, saute garlic, and then stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Add the cream and stir until thick. Stir in crab, chives, salt and pepper.

Fold the filo sheets so they are 6" x 6" brushing each layer with melted butter. Put a big plop of the crab mixture in the center of each square, and fold into triangles. Seal and brush top with melted butter.

Bake at 400F for 15 to 20 minutes, until they look perfectly browned.
