Coconut And Peanut Butter Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Unsweetened coconut milk |
| 1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Peanut butter |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Green chili pepper - seeded, finely (medium) |
| Chopped | ||
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cilantro - snipped |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Lemon peel - shredded |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Fish sauce |
| OR 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce | ||
| Milk |
Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan. Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly.
Reduce hat; simmer, uncovered, 5-10 minutes.
If sauce is too thick, stir in a little milk.
Serve warm with Indonesian Beef-Coconut Balls.
