Clam And Spinach Canapes Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Frozen chopped spinach | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
1 | Minced clams - drained | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Lemon-pepper seasoning |
12 | White bread | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Grated parmesan cheese |
Cook spinach according to package directions; drain, squeeze dry and chop finely. Melt butter, add chopped spinach and cook over medium heat until liquid evaporates. Remove from heat. Stir in minced clams and lemon-pepper seasoning; mix well.
Trim crusts and cut bread into rounds or squares. Toast both sides under broiler. Spread bread with clam mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Return to broiler and brown before serving.
