Chutney Cracker Spread Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Fat-free cream cheese - softened | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Nonfat sour cream |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Curry powder |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Green onions - sliced |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Unsalted peanuts - dry-roasted, chopped |
9 oz | 255g | Chutney |
Assorted reduced-fat crackers |
In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream and curry powder until smooth.
Fold in the onions and peanuts. Spread about 1/2 inch thick on a serving plate. Chill.
Just before serving, pour chutney over all. Serve with crackers. Yield: 1 1/2 cups.
