Chilies Rellenos Puffs Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter - at room temperature |
1 1/4 cups | 78g / 2.8oz | All-purpose flour |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Monterey jack cheese - melted |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Roasted peeled green chiles - seeded and diced* |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Garlic powder |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Grated parmesan cheese |
1. Combine butter and flour in a food processor, process until well mixed.
2. Add Monterey jack cheese, chili peppers and garlic powder, process until well mixed.
3. Form dough into 3/4 inch balls, roll in Parmesan cheese.
4. Place on a greased baking sheets and bake at 375F for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes: * or you can use 4 oz. canned diced green chili peppers, drained.
