Chili Roasted Peanuts Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Peanut oil |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Crushed chilies |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cumin |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Turmeric |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
4 cups | 948ml | Raw peanuts |
Preheat oven to 325F.
Combine all ingredients except the nuts in a baking pan and mix well.
Add nuts and toss to mix.
Spread nuts in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden, stirring 2 or 3 times during cooking.
Serve barely warm or at room temperature.
Variation: Try assorted nuts.
