Chicken Kabobs Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Skinless boneless chicken breasts |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Soy sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground ginger |
2 | Green bell peppers - cut in 1" cubes | |
1 | Mushroom caps - drained | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Honey |
Cut chicken into 1-inch cubes.
In a large bowl combine soy sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, sugar and ginger; stir to combine. Add chicken pieces and toss lightly to coat pieces well.
Alternate chicken pieces, green peppers and mushroom caps on wooden skewers. Reserve soy sauce mixture.
Combine honey with reserved liquid. Brush each kabob liberally with the mixture.
Prepare the grill and let coals burn down to solid gray.
Place kabobs on grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side. Brush on marinade every few minutes. Can also be cook in oven broiler.
Kabobs may be served either hot or cold.
