Chicken Cream Cheese Roll Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Cream cheese - softened | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Steak sauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Curry powder |
1 1/2 cups | 93g / 3.3oz | Cooked chicken - minced |
1/3 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Celery - finely chopped |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Chopped fresh parsley - divided |
1/4 cup | 23g / 0.8oz | Slivered almonds |
In a bowl, blend cream cheese, steak sauce and curry, mixing until smooth. Add chicken, celery and 1/2 teaspoon of the chopped parsley.
Mix to blend and evenly distribute the ingredients.
Form into a roll, wrap in plastic film and chill at least 4 hours. Toss together the almonds and 1 teaspoon chopped parsley.
Spread on waxed paper and roll log in it to coat evenly.
Serve with crackers or rye bread rounds.
