Cherry Tomatoes With Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
4 oz | 113g | Crumbled blue cheese - (about 1 cup) |
1 cup | 237ml | Mayonnaise |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Buttermilk |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Minced chives |
1 | Basket cherry tomatoes with stems |
Mash half of blue cheese with 1/4 cup mayonnaise in a medium bowl until almost smooth.
Gradually mix in remaining mayonnaise and buttermilk.
Gently stir in remaining cheese and a but 1 tablespoon of chives. (Can be prepared a day ahead.
Cover sauce and remaining chives separately and chill.)
Spoon sauce into a small bowl.
Garnish with remaining chives.
Place on a large platter.
Surround with cherry tomatoes and serve.
