Cheesy Turkey Sausage Bites Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Turkey sausage |
| 1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Green onions - chopped |
| 3 cups | 330g / 11oz | Bisquick baking mix |
| 2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Grated low fat cheddar cheese |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dry mustard |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cayenne |
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Milk |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Dijon mustard |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey |
Cook and stir sausage and the green onions in a large skillet until brown, crumbling sausage into small bits; drain.
Mix sausage mixture baking mix, cheese, dry mustard and cayenne is a large bowl.
Stir in milk. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Mix Dijon mustard with honey and serve as dipping sauce with hot appetizers.
