Cheesy Nachos Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 | Tortilla chips, salted | |
| 12 oz | 340g | Velveeta cheese, cubed |
| Pickled jalapenos, minced | ||
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Mild thick and chunky salsa |
| 3 | Scallions - thinly sliced | |
| 1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Hamburger |
| Garnish | ||
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Pickled jalapenos, sliced |
| 1/3 cup | 78ml | Sliced black olives |
1. Spread tortilla chips over large platter.
2. Fry hamburger and drain off fat and liquids.
3. In medium saucepan, combine cubed cheese, salsa and 3 Tbs. water. Heat over low heat to simmering, stirring occasionally. Simmer 1 minute. Add minced jalapenos to your desired heat level.
4. Place a layer of the hamburger over the tortilla chips.
5. Pour cheese mixture over chips
6. Garnish with sliced jalapenos and olives.
Eat with fingers.
