1 | Loaf unsliced white bread - cut in 1" cubes | |
2 | Cream cheese - softened | |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Margarine |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dry mustard |
4 | Egg whites - beaten |
Melt together cream cheese, margarine, sharp cheese and dry mustard. When cool, fold in egg whites. Dip bread cubes into mixture (except bottom). Place on cookie sheet. Freeze.
Then put into plastic bags. When ready to bake, bake frozen at 400F for approximately 10 minutes or until golden brown.
These are messy to make but worth it.
