Cheese Chutney Spread Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Cream cheese | |
8 oz | 227g | Shredded sharp cheddar cheese - grated |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Tabasco sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 | Prepared chutney - or less,, to taste | |
Chopped fresh parsley - for garnish | ||
Toasted almonds - for garnish |
Blend cheddar and cream cheese with sauces in a food processor until creamy, dividing into two or more batches if necessary. Line a gelatin mold, cake pan or loaf pan with plastic wrap. Pour in cheese mixture. Allow to set in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Invert on a serving tray, removing plastic wrap. Spread top with chutney and garnish. Serve with crackers, crostinis (thin French bread slices brushed with olive oil and toasted), and/or crudites.
