1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Butter or margarine - melted |
4 | Popped popcorn | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Garlic salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Onion salt |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
Preheat oven to 325F.
Melt butter or margarine over low heat. Pour the popcorn into a large 4-inch-deep baking pan. Add butter, garlic salt, onion salt and cheese, a small amount of each at a time, and toss.
Heat in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes to melt the cheese, stirring gently once or twice.
Makes 4 quarts.
