Candied Pecans

Recipe Ingredients

1   Egg white
1 cup 160g / 5.6ozFirmly packed dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon 5mlVanilla extract
2 cups 292g / 10ozPecan halves - about 1 pound

Recipe Instructions

Preheat the oven to 225F. Grease a baking sheet.

Beat the egg white until stiff in a medium-size bowl. Fold in the brown sugar and vanilla then gently fold in the pecans. Drop the pecans in small mounds (1-2 halves in each) onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 45 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and store in an airtight container.
