Broiled Seafood Canapes Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Cooked seafood - flaked |
6 | White sandwich bread | |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Grated cheddar or American cheese |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Ketchup or chili sauce |
Toast bread on one side; trim off crusts and cut bread in half.
Butter untoasted sides; cover with a layer of seafood, then ketchup and top with cheese.
Place canapes on a baking sheet under the broiler.
Broil until the cheese is melted and the canapes are heated through.
Makes 12 canapes.
