Creamy Mustard Sauce | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dijon mustard |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Heavy cream or yogurt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Fresh dill - minced |
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, thyme and pepper flakes. Wash and slice zucchini in 1/2-inch diagonal slices. Add zucchini to olive oil mixture; set aside.
In another small bowl, whisk together mustard and cream. Gradually stir in oil and dill; set aside. Salt zucchini to taste.
Skewer 3 pieces of sausage alternately with 2 pieces of zucchini on 6-inch wooden skewers. Grill over medium heat until zucchini softens slightly, about 5 minutes. Brush zucchini and sausage with mustard sauce and cook an additional 30 seconds. Refrigerate leftover sauce.
