Anissabo (Pea Soup -- Cree Style)

Recipe Ingredients

2 cups	474ml	Dried peas - soaked
20 oz	568g	Hominy
1 cup	110g / 3.9oz	Celery leaves or thyme
		Salt
		Pepper
		Savoury
16 cups	3792ml	Water

Recipe Instructions

When the soaking peas are soft, put them in a large pot with the rest of the ingredients. Simmer until the peas are tender but stil firm. Add the hominy & cook till thickened. Serve hot.
