2 cups | 474ml | Dried peas - soaked |
20 oz | 568g | Hominy |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Celery leaves or thyme |
Salt | ||
Pepper | ||
Savoury | ||
16 cups | 3792ml | Water |
When the soaking peas are soft, put them in a large pot with the rest of the ingredients. Simmer until the peas are tender but stil firm. Add the hominy & cook till thickened. Serve hot.
