Zesty Carrot Bake Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Carrots - cut into |
1/2 | Slices | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Minced onion |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Mayonnaise |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Water |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Prepared horseradish |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Dry bread crums |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter or margarine - melted |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Shredded sharp cheddar |
Cheese |
On stovetop or in a microwave oven, cook carrots until tender. Place in a 1 qt baking dish; set aside. In a small bowl combine the next five ingredients' mix well. Pour over carrots. Combine bread crumbs and butter, sprinkle on top. Bake, uncovered, at 350F for 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Return to the over for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese melts.
