1 tablespoon | 15ml | Margarine |
8 cups | 1896ml | Thinly sliced iceberg lettuce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Sugar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
2 cups | 474ml | Fresh green peas |
Melt margarine in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add lettuce, and cook 3 minutes or until lettuce wilts, stirring frequently.
Stir in sugar and remaining ingredients, and cook 2 minutes. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 cup).
